Did You Know Stress Can Trigger Hair Loss?

Hair Loss IllustratedStress can be experienced by anyone and can affect a person’s body condition. But immediately to cope with stress as it can cause hair loss. “Stress can trigger hair loss, because the two are interrelated conditions, but this does not happen on a permanent basis,” said Daniel Hall-Flavin K, MD.

Daniel said that if a person can control the stress experienced then the hair will grow back. This condition usually occurs when a person is the sudden loss of hair when you brush or shampoo.

Note that there are three types of hair loss that may be associated with high levels of stress, namely:

1. Alopecia areata, which is caused by severe stress levels. This condition occurs when white blood cells attack the hair follicles so that hair growth and cause hair loss stop.

2. Telogen effluvium is caused by physical or emotional stress to promote a large number of hairs to enter the resting phase. In recent months the possibility of hair loss when combing or unexpectedly found shampoo.

3. Trichotillomania is the existence of an irresistible urge to pull hair from the scalp, eyebrows or other body areas. The removal of this hair can occur when a negative or uncomfortable feelings such as stress, anxiety, tension, fatigue, loneliness or frustration.
